Stephen Curry Plans Enterprise in San Francisco
Baby-Faced, Real-Estate Assassin:
Curry recently purchased a property just blocks away from Chase Center, home of the Golden State Warriors. The property at 600 20th Street was sold for $8.5 million, a staggering 6.0x price increase from 2021. Curry’s enterprise Thirty Ink, the umbrella organization for Curry’s many businesses, will set roots here, and work on Eat. Learn. Play. Foundation, Unanimous Media, and more. The various entities focus on topics like media, fitness, lifestyle, philanthropy, impact, athlete management, and brand.
He has demolition plans that are pending approval with the city’s planning department (which will undoubtedly pass, given his impact on the local communities of SF Bay Area). The business aims to demolish the entire vacant property and construct a 5-story, 25,000 sq ft building filled with offices, flex space for art, a 3-bedroom unit, roof deck, and more.

A New Korean Market:
A new market is set to enter our local Korean food scene. - a 75,000-square-foot grocery complex named after Korea’s largest seafood market in Busan. Slated to occupy a former JC Penney location at Serramonte Center in Daly City, Jagalchi aims to create a vibrant "one-stop space" for customers to enjoy authentic Korean cuisine and shop for groceries. Challenge to H Mart:
With its similar offerings and strategic location, Jagalchi sets out to challenge the popularity of H Mart, which currently operates three locations in the Bay Area and is set to open a fourth.
H Mart has been so popular in fact, that just last year kicked off a plan to further expand its Alemany Boulevard location by 20k+ square feet and several dozen more parking spaces
Not Just the Koreans:
Announced late last year, a Filipino-American grocery retailer Island Pacific Supermarket has plans to open its first location in San Francisco. The lease for a 33,900-square-foot store at 2900 Alemany Boulevard is, again, right next door to H Mart. Plans include a full deli, a butcher, a San Honore Bakery, a Chirp Bakery and a Boba Opa Tea window, along with supporting kitchens.
